National strategy for sustainable development in education
The National Institute for Further Education has been entrusted by the Ministry of Education, Youth and Sports with coordination and preparation of material entitled National Strategy for Sustainable Development in Education. Elaboration of such material on a nation – wide level results from the document of UNECE (United Nations Economic Commission for Europe) entitled Educational Strategy for Sustainable Development which has been accepted in 2005.
The NIFE coordinates a Workgroup designated by the Governmental Council for Sustainable Development, that is composed of representatives of individual ministries and other concerned public and private organisations/bodies. The material will be submited to the Governmental Council for Sustainable Development in the first half of the year 2007
